In fashion, beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say. Sometimes though we lose our sparkle and become dull or try too hard to feel better by dressing younger, too young. I found myself at that crossroad at age 50.
My father worked for a local department store and was a very talented visual merchandiser and buyer. I watched and learned and by high school I had developed a style of my own. My father worked for a local department store and was a very talented visual merchandiser and buyer. I watched and learned and by high school I had developed a style of my own. I also started sewing for myself and friends. I started my first job outside my parents' businesses in a retail store and quickly developed a client list of people who came to me to help them build their wardrobes. This was in the early 1980's before people really thought in wardrobes. I LOVED IT!
Starting in the mid-1980s I was accepted in to the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Fashion. It was a top 3 in the nation for fashion design and marketing. I knew I had found my calling. Working my way through school, I managed a retail store full time. It was tough but again I loved it. I also started developing skills with cosmetics too. I was not allowed to wear make up in high school so for me it was PLAY TIME! What of my biggest joys was helping women feel better about themselves by building their confidence due to their clothing choices. They just carried themselves differently.

One of my biggest joys was helping women feel better about themselves by building their confidence due to their clothing choices. They just carried themselves differently. What happened next? Well, life honestly. I was approached and moved in to outside sales which led me away from retail fashion but I still had a love to help friends and go on shopping adventures. I always found it easier to dress others than myself. It was fun.
After 25 years of outside sales in communications, advertising and marketing, I find myself longing for days gone by and helping people feel their best. So now I'm back! This time I've partnered with 2 additional companies to help me help you. I've partnered with Dr. Rodan and Dr. Fields, the brilliant minds behind ProActiv, in the offering of the rest of their award winning skincare line, Rodan+Fields. Along with Rodan+Fields, I also offer the highest quality sterling silver jewelry with Grace & Heart.
I'd love the opportunity to work with you, help you feel your best through building your style and finding your confidence and share some life as we go along on this new journey
